Phew! Finally I could spend some time tangling today. It’s been so many days. I haven’t been able to keep up with the Facebook India weekly inspirations either. So I randomly picked up a prior inspiration and worked on it today. The inspiration was a string and we could use any tangles we wanted to. As I am spending more time drawing, I have realized that my biggest challenge is realizing when to stop. Sometimes I just carried away and keep ‘enhancing’ my piece of work till I mess it up. So off late, I have been learning to be very cautious and stop when I feel it is good enough.
This one is my simplest so far. Keeping almost half the tile empty was difficult. I resisted the temptation to just fill it up. Tangles used are : Tipple, Jelly Legs and my favorite tangle Florz.
Off late, I have also been trying to maintain an art journal (if you can call it that) dabbling in water colors and oil pastels. I never thought it could be so much fun. I don’t spend much time on it though. 10 minutes a day on an average. More on that soon. Hope you’ve been having a great week everyone.
