I had taken a long break from blogging. About three weeks to be precise. Resumed a couple of days ago. While I was catching up on my friend Petra’s blog, I came across a wonderful challenge that she has started on her blog. It’s the 30 Day Sunrise Photo and exercise challenge. You can read more about it here.
Well, I loved the concept and the benefits it gives. The best part is the challenge has various goals and you can pick out all or any that suit you. So it’s pretty flexible. Though I may not be able to join the sunrise photo challenge since my mornings are usually rushed. However, I do intend to post morning photos whenever I can, on weekends probable. I am in for the exercise challenge though and would be posting about my progress on this page.
I could not take any photos today since it was already mid-day when I came across this challenge. I did about 30 minutes of yoga today as a part of the challenge. Generally, I hit the gym about thrice a week for strength training/cardio. On days that I don’t go to the gym, I practice yoga at home. Though I used to be very regular with my fitness routine earlier, I have slackened off late. With this challenge I hope to be more regular, thanks Petra 🙂
My daughter and me both have a viral fever and most of the day was spent at the doctor’s and then managing the fever at home. Needless to say, did not get anything done today. I am not sure when I can take it up again, will have to take at least a few days break from exercise. Hoping to join back in soon. Take care everyone!
It was raining almost throughout the day. And I was also down with viral fever, I was confined to home most day. However, it did not stop me from stepping outside the apartment and taking a quick morning photo. It had just stopped raining when I took this picture.
It was a rainy day today as well. Again, took a picture from my window. Can’t wait to get better so that I can venture out for better morning pictures. Here is the picture I took when it was still drizzling
Took a few photos when I went out for a walk at a nearby park. It was threatening to rain but it did not. It was sunny one moment and a little dark the next. I was enjoying the play of sunlight. Here are some pictures –
I did get my fitness routine back on track in the last two weeks and I am quite happy about it. I go for walks every morning on weekdays and weekends I go in the evenings. Also am able to go to the gym about 3 times a week. On days that I don’t go to the gym, I do yoga at home. More about my fitness routine in a separate post.
